The rules for inviting and using Counting Bot in your Discord server.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
By inviting Counting Bot ("the bot", "we", "us") to a Discord server, or by using it in a server it has been added to, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please remove the bot and stop using it.
You must meet Discord's own minimum age and eligibility requirements to use Discord, and by extension the bot. Use of the bot is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which take precedence in the event of a conflict.
Counting Bot provides a counting game and related features for Discord servers — including streak tracking, leaderboards, moderation tools (such as count-bans), and configurable settings for server admins. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.
Whoever configures the bot in a server (via /setup and /settings) is responsible for how it's used in that server, including assigning moderator roles and setting appropriate permissions. We're not responsible for how individual servers choose to configure or moderate with the bot.
The bot is provided on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation — the bot may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, outages, or issues outside our control (including Discord API downtime). You can check current status at any time on the Status page.
The bot stores limited server, channel, and user data needed to run counting features (see the Privacy Policy for details). Removing the bot from your server, or asking us to delete your data, stops that collection going forward.
We may suspend or block a server's or user's access to the bot at our discretion, including for violations of these terms, abuse, or behavior that disrupts the bot for other servers. You may stop using the bot at any time by removing it from your server.
The bot is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the bot — including loss of data, streaks, or server settings.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the bot after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
